Toothbrush reinvented with Robo Wunderkind!

Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for two minutes twice per day. Well, good luck explaining that to your little ones! Tooth brushing is boring, we totally get it; but what if a smart Robo brush could help kids to make this routine more fun? Let’s try it out!

Time: 10 minutes

You will need:

  • Main Block
  • 1x DC Motor
  • Connector Block
  • Button
  • 2x Universal Connectors
  • A toothbrush
  • A rubber band
  • Some Lego® Technic pieces (optional)

Step 1: Build the base for your toothbrush by attaching the Main Block, the DC Motor, the Connector Block and the Button together.

Step 2: Place the toothbrush in the middle of the rotating part of the DC Motor and secure it with the rubber band. You can place some Lego® Technic pieces on top of the rotating part for more stability.

Step 3: Time to program your device! First, create a loop out of two Motor actions, adjust the speed and the distance.

Step 4: Drag a Wait action onto the dashboard, connect it to the Motor and add a Button condition to it. Program it to “Pressed”.

Step 5: Create a loop and add one more Button, this time set it on “Released”.

Experiment with different combinations and add more Button conditions! Here’s what we suggest:

That’s it, works like a charm! Beware, your daily toothbrushing routine might be taking longer than 2 minutes from now on. It’s just so much fun! 😉
